From now on users whose GWDG account has been blocked due to a password change that was not made in time but is regularly necessary for security reasons, have a simple option to carry out this change in self-service via the GWDG customer portal https://www.gwdg.de. The login to the customer portal (and only there) is now possible even after password expiration with the expired password, so that there the password itself can be changed to be able to work again.
