More….In this coming winter semester, the University of Göttingen is establishing a Master’s programme in Applied Data Science. Students will specialise in dealing with large amounts of data, and how to gain meaningful insights from the data sets. The programme is taught in English and leads to a Master of Science (MSc) in four semesters. Göttingen University is the first university in Lower Saxony to offer both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Applied Data Science.

More….Several German universities of the ZKI, including the University of Göttingen / GWDG, are jointly organizing the IT Security Awareness Days as a cross-university public online lecture series on the initiative of the TU Braunschweig from 07.06. to 18.06.2021. The 14 lecture topics range from “Security in the Home Office” to “Social Engineering” and are mostly aimed at users without prior knowledge.The event is open to the public, registration is not required.
